Stowmarket & Area Foodbank

Providing individuals and families from Stowmarket and the surrounding areas who are in crisis with emergency food parcels.

Purpose of the Foodbank

The Stowmarket and Area Foodbank was launched in October 2012 to provide individuals and families from Stowmarket and the surrounding areas who are in crisis with emergency food parcels. It is run in conjunction with other churches in the area, through Stowmarket Churches Together.

We work with local organisations to identify individuals and families who can benefit from our services (this also helps us reduce fraud).

Parcels

Generally, we provide 1 or 3-day emergency food parcels, containing dried and canned goods, plus tea and personal hygiene products.

Foodbank Opening times

The centre is open during the following hours:

Tuesdays: 9 am – 1 pm
Wednesdays: 9 am – 1 pm
Thursdays: 9 am – 1 pm
Fridays: 9 am – 1 pm
