United we stand

“United we stand, divided we fall”. Certainly is a common phrase used today in many areas of life: football, rugby to name just two. Many of our well-loved sports are team events made up of individuals coming and working together for the sake of the team (most of the time!).

Family Church is no different to that: it takes a team of at least thirty people to make the morning run smoothly. All individuals coming together and working together with one goal. So whether you’re on the Kid’s team, Media team, Worship team, Hosting team, Catering team, Prayer team or Pick-up team, we are all working toward creating a great Family Church experience.

House of Prayer network

In December 2009 we launched the House of Prayer network, which you can join! People and churches from all around the world are joining together as Praying Partners, team mates, ‘united we stand’. Prayer provides an umbrella of protection over our life, our family and our country.

  1. You may have never prayed before. Never mind, now is a great time to start.
  2. You may not know what to pray. Never mind, start with this one: “God, help me!”
  3. You may not be part of any church. Never mind, Jesus said, “You will seek me and you will find me when you search for me with all your heart.”

Join the House of Prayer network today! You’ll receive a House of Prayer Network certificate, and be signed up for Inspire, the monthly email message and inspiration for prayer! Read prayer requests from our partners plus send in your own prayer requests.

Phone the office; on 01449 774000, or call in: Hillside Community Centre, 9 am to 1 pm, Tuesdays to Fridays. You can also sign up online.

Don’t forget: united we stand, divided we fall.
