New Life Church has been partnering with churches and organisations in Rwanda and Uganda for over twenty years, through missions trips, training for church leaders, orphanages and schools, and providing on-the-ground aid and food relief.
In Uganda we are working with Pastor Sam Sombi, we we met in 2009 on a mission trip. We have travelled with Sam over many years all over Uganda, as part of Abundant Life Ministries Ireland, holding missions events, providing gifts of compassion, training pastors and leaders, and schools and prison work.
Pastor Sam planted Hilltop Church in 2015, serving the Masaka, Kampala and Buhenye areas – read more about Hilltop Church here.
Their ministries include a tailoring project, a foodbank, and gifts of compassion, which has included building a house for a family in great need.
In Rwanda we are working with Pastor John Nadahiro. John was originally a sponsored child when we first travelled to Rwanda and accompanied us on mission trips as an interpreter. Over twenty years later he planted Alive Passion Church in Bugasara, where he is running conferences for church leaders and married couples, a foodbank outreach, and a sewing project.
